Here is a list of the locations where our events may be held. You can click the location for directions and to see which events are currently scheduled there. We host Argentine Tango classes and social events in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia as well as participating in events elsewhere.

This is the downstair dance studio of Gulden Ozen/TangoVita.

The direct route for most people is to get to the intersection of NC55 and I-40 (Exit 278).

From North Durham/Durham Freeway:

  • From DURHAM FREEWAY 147, take exit number 11, 55/ALSTON AVE. Proceed south on NC55 for 4-5 miles.
  • Cross big intersection at CORNWALLIS, and proceed to the 2nd light.
  • Turn RIGHT onto CARPENTER FLETCHER.
  • Then in quick succession:
    • 1st RIGHT on LOYAL
    • 1st LEFT on FERRIDAY
    • 1st(only) RIGHT on LAKE ELTON
    • 1st LEFT on WEDGEWOOD
    • 1st LEFT on HENNER PLACE
  • 2nd to last house on the RIGHT. 2 stories, gray cedar exterior, brick lower level.

From 15-501:

  • From 15-501, take exit onto MARTIN LUTHER KING JR PKWY and proceed south and west.
  • MARTIN LUTHER KING JR PKWY crosses SHANNON and then cuts down to 2 lanes (and may be called AVONDALE) before it crosses HOPE VALLEY and opens up again.
  • Cross HOPE VALLEY, and continue on MARTIN LUTHER KING JR PKWY Proceed through 2 lights (2.8 miles).
  • Turn RIGHT at the sign for VILLAGES OF CORNWALLIS (the road name is Yorktown Ave., but that sign is hard to see). The road ends at ODYSSEY DR.
  • Turn LEFT onto ODYSSEY DR.
  • Take the 2nd RIGHT onto PENRITH DR. Proceed for about half a mile until the 4-way stop.
  • Turn LEFT onto LAKE ELTON RD.
  • Take 2nd RIGHT onto WEDGEWOOD LN.
  • Turn 1st LEFT onto HENNER PL.
  • 2nd to last house on the RIGHT. 2 stories, gray cedar exterior, brick lower level.

From Duke University:

  • Take ANDERSON ST. south till it ends on CHAPEL HILL RD.
  • Turn RIGHT onto CHAPEL HILL RD. Proceed to the bridge at DURHAM-CHAPEL HILL BLVD (next to Hardee's).
  • Cross the bridge, and turn LEFT at the light onto Cornwallis.
  • Take 1st RIGHT onto HOPE VALLEY. Proceed for a mile to MARTIN LUTHER KING JR PKWY
  • Turn LEFT onto MARTIN LUTHER KING JR PKWY and proceed through 2 lights (2.8 miles).

  • Then in quick succession:
    • 1st RIGHT on LOYAL
    • 1st LEFT on FERRIDAY
    • 1st(only) RIGHT on LAKE ELTON
    • 1st LEFT on WEDGEWOOD
    • 1st LEFT on HENNER PLACE
  • 2nd to last house on the RIGHT. 2 stories, gray cedar exterior, brick lower level.

From I-40 Westbound:

  • Take Exit 278 (54/55) and turn LEFT onto NC 55 (Going North).
